What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is a martial art that focuses on capturing and using our body's internal energy. It does this through slow repetitious movement to train and hone the energy in our body.

Tai Chi began several hundred years ago with the Chen family. One of Chen's disciples, a man named Yang, created his own form of Tai Chi and it has become the most popular version of Tai Chi in the world today. Tai Chi is known as the Grand and Ultimate Fist.

How can Tai Chi help me?

Because of the low intensity nature of Tai Chi it is recommended for those who: struggle with traditional forms of exercise, have chronic pain, or struggle to relax fully. It can help with flexibility, balance, and self-control.
